Welcome to the Year End Appreciation Holiday

The end of the year has come. A new one is dawning. Time to reflect. Of all that happens around you, it is the people closest to you, your amazing friends, the loving family, that create the meaning in your life. People are the center of our universes; don't take it for granted. The end of the year reminds us how quickly time passes. It's time to act on our reflections. This act is a celebration, we call the Year End Appreciation Holiday! (YEAH!)

Think back on your year: who made the experiences that touched you most?

What is YEAH?
You will find the YEAH experience a simple one. Instead of sending Christmas cards or lighting candles or celebrating  both Christmas and Kwanzaa, devote yourself to celebrating yourself and the people that made you who you are this year. It's a simple exercise, look back on upon who impacted you most this past year and let them know what that meant to you. The easiest thing to do is simply send a card, but because of our culture here in the USA, gifts are commonplace as well. It doesn't matter either way; the important part is the process of consideration and exhilaration that helps us celebrate what YEAH is all about.

YEA Holiday began in 1999 as a secular experience of the beauty of Christmas, Hannukah and
Kwanzaa, while at the same time bringing nostalgia and honor together at the same time. There's no reason we cannot experience one another on our own ceremony. You are the interactions that you have with other people; give yourself room to celebrate those interactions every year.
